DEP Small Business Advantage Grant Reopens on First-Come, First-Served Basis

The Small Business Advantage Grant will provide grant funds that will match 50 percent of costs related to energy efficiency or pollution prevention, up to a maximum grant of $7,500. 39 EMAP clients have already received over $229,000 in grant funds in previous rounds of funding. The program re-opened on July 1, 2006 and, since all applications will be treated on a first-come-first-serve basis, it is best to apply early. Visit http://www.depweb.state.pa.us and enter the keyword: SBADVANTAGE for more information or CLICK HERE.

Contact EMAP at 877.ask.EMAP for help determining your energy efficiency and pollution prevention saving opportunities and preparing the grant application paperwork.

UPDATE: The $1 million in available funding for this program was exhausted by September 15, 2006. It is likely to re-open in July 2007.
