Joseph provides environmental consulting assistance to small businesses in the northwestern part of the state. He helps clients of the Gannon and Clarion University SBDCs address environmental needs, including regulatory & permitting requirements, energy efficiciency, waste minimization, pollution prevention, and other environmental management strategies.

Prior to joining the EMAP team, Joseph spent over six years as an environmental professional in private industry. In this role, he was responsible for creating and implementing facility-wide environmental management systems, and he gained expertise in air, water, waste, and health & safety compliance. He received a B.S. in Environmental Science from Allegheny College and is certified as an Incident Commander and HAZMAT technician.
